Designed to showcase Converse's most coveted product, the Converse First String collections are focused on original silhouettes, modern design, premium construction, high-level distribution and occasional collaborations with originals in art, design, fashion and culture. The Converse First String Standards collection is not done in collaboration, but is a collection of very special, hand-picked silhouettes mined from the Converse archives, and re-considered.

Carrying DNA from an original 1970s era silhouette, this shoe, originally designed for court sports, has an ultra-clean, updated look with monochromatic suede uppers that contrast with simple white soles. Subtle, sharp details are added as well, like a simple cut-out star on the shoe’s heel.

The Converse Matchpoint III Ox will be available in two colors, a black suede and a parchment suede.
