Horween, one of the oldest tanneries in the United States, is widely known for its production of fine leathers. For this special release, Converse borrows Horween’s Chromexcel® leather. The resulting product is an understated yet ultra-luxurious, clean looking version of the Pro Leather. The Converse Dr. J First String Standard features “Dr. J” subtly embossed in gold foil.
