Introducing the Converse First String Nigel Cabourn Chuck Taylor All Star Bosey. This is the inaugural collaboration with the heritage men's wear designer, Nigel Cabourn, who brings his many years of design expertise and fine eye for details to the All Star Bosey silhouette. Sourced from the Talbot weaving, the original Ventile factory located in Lancashire, England. This fabric was originally designed for the Royal British Air Force to help keep them warm in harsh sub-climate conditions. This sneaker boasts keen features such as a fully lined all Ventile fabric upper, contrast stitching on the heal, brass hardware, vintage license plates, the custom Ventile label that Nigel features throughout his apparel and a stripped side wall adding to the military aesthetic.

Using the classic Chuck Taylor All Star shoe, Reigning Champ lends its heavy-weight terry, jersey fabric to re-imagine the iconic silhouette’s upper. Available in heather grey or navy, both shoes feature ultra-premium construction and subtle details such as a sharp Reigning Champ chambray lining. The result is the familiar Chuck, with a crisp, clean look and feel. As with all high-quality vintage-inspired fabrics, the use and aging of the Reigning Champ Chuck Taylor All Star shoe will continue to enhance both colorways into beautiful well-worn shades over time. Both shoes are completed with natural color laces and the signature Converse logo on the heel and tongue.

The Converse Jack Purcell Johnny shoe shows its sophistication with two new styles. Available in a green and white low-top, or a navy and white high top. Both feature heathered two-tone cotton uppers and signature Jack Purcell Johnny detailing. Unique overlays are added to the shoe’s upper using a tinted transparent screen-mesh that gives the fabric beneath an off-tone appearance and a modern touch. The Johnny comes in a resin treated canvas with suede overlays. The resin treated canvas has a rigid denim fell that is contrasted by the soft suede overlays of the Johnny.
Equal parts refined and rebellious, the Converse Jack Purcell sneaker is inspired by the man behind the iconic smile. In 1935, world-famous badminton champion and tennis pro Jack Purcell helped design his innovative and durable performance court shoe with the iconic smile on the toecap.
The Jack Purcell Johnny sneaker, named after the man himself, offers a traditional take on the classic Purcell style. Debuting in the 1930s as one of the original Jack Purcell silhouettes, the Johnny sneaker features exposed shank detailing on the outsole of the shoe.
Pushing the classic-yet-mischievous lines that define Jack Purcell, the new Converse First String Standards Jack Purcell Johnny Hi sneaker features a resin treated canvas with suede overlays. The resin treated canvas has a rigid denim fell that is contrasted by the soft suede overlays of the Johnny. Pinstripe detailing on the rubber midsole offers a finishing touch alongside the signature Jack Purcell smile.
Now available in Black.

Converse First String is a limited-edition collection that celebrates craftsmanship, authenticity and collaboration at the highest level. It is in that spirit that they launch the all-new José Parlá for Converse (PRODUCT)RED Chuck Taylor All Star shoe for World Aids Day 12.1.11.
Using the Chuck Taylor All Star shoe as the canvas, Parlá’s painting "Ephemeral Pitches, and Notes, Rhythm and Phonetics" graces the shoe’s upper. Using an extremely high-tech laser printing technique, Parlá’s work is immaculate and vivid with a carefully color-matched representation of the original piece in natural tones of tan, yellow and grey. Additionally, subtly placed in the shoe’s interior, Parlá’s signature can be found on the shoe’s footbed as well as a repeat calligraphy pattern along the shoe’s lining. The shoe’s outsole also receives a unique painted treatment, giving nod to the artist at work in his studio. High-level construction throughout, the shoe’s design is completed with 100% organic cotton natural color laces and the signature Converse (PRODUCT)RED top eyelet.
