Converse First String Standards debut High-top versions of the basic Straight Shooter style. Available in black suede or burgundy oiled-leather uppers, both shoes feature unique triangular canvas underlays, resin-treated canvas linings and asymmetrical rubber toecaps. Offering clean, stand-out style for the season.
Borrowing design cues from the Converse archives, the Converse Straight Shooter shoes start with an outsole derived from a 1970s silhouette by the same name. They then add innovatively lightweight features, premium materials and crafted detailing to round them out. Lunarlon foam, engineered for increased comfort and support, lightens-up the Straight Shooter’s cupsole construction and a rubber-wrapped midsole lends the shoes Converse’s signature vulcanized look.
